The Phoenix Pet Expo:

The Foundation for Service Dog Support (FSDS) is an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides support and resources for people and service dogs. The FSDS provides training for service dog teams, support and encouragement for people who need service dogs and increased community awareness about the role of service dogs in public spaces. The FSDS preferentially grants service dogs to injured and/or disabled first responders, public safety officers, disabled military veterans, public school teachers, clergy and others who have provided outstanding service to our community. Our unique youth-based service dog training program is taught by Arizona Department of Education Certified Career and Technical Education Teachers, and offers teens the ability to earn high school credit while acquiring marketable service dog training skills. Dogs trained and certified through this program are awarded to local residents in need.
