The Phoenix Pet Expo:

Hospice of the Valley’s Pet Connections program utilizes registered therapy animals to provide companionship and socialization for hospice patients throughout Maricopa and Northern Pinal counties. Our patients enjoy visits from dogs, cats, rabbits and miniature horses in a variety of settings, including private homes, group homes, assisted living, skilled nursing and palliative care unit facilities. Our volunteers complete a comprehensive training program prior to patient assignments.
