The International Cat Association (TICA) Feline Competition
The International Cat Association™ (TICA™) is the world's largest genetic registry of pedigreed cats, the largest registry of household pet cats and kittens. TICA was the first and now the world's largest-registry to allow household cats of unknown ancestry to compete for the same titles and awards as pedigreed cats. The responsible breeding of pedigreed cats preserves the distinct characteristics of individual pedigreed breeds and ensures the continuation of predictable physical and behavioral traits for future generations.
TICA also is the world's largest registry of household pet cats and kittens.Household pet cats and kittens adopted from shelters or rescued off the street, compete for titles and international and regional awards, just like pedigreed cats.
TICA shows are judged by highly respected members of the Cat Fancy who have completed an extensive apprenticeship and examination process which fully qualifies them to evaluate a quality cat show exhibit.
The International Cat Association, is pleased to bring over 125 cats to compete for big wins both days of the Expo. Feline enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy simultaneous judging of cats in four rings, have the opportunity to talk with feline experts, and view cuddly cats up close and personal at the TICA booth. Many of the 63 TICA recognized cat breeds and household pet cats will attend and compete for wins.
