Top Dog Eileen Proctor
ABOUT TOP DOG EILEEN PROCTOR

Fulfilling her passion and actualizing her vision of creating a successful business that improves the quality of life for dogs and the people that love them, Top Dog Eileen Proctor’s life went to the dogs when she pioneered the dog daycare industry within Phoenix's Valley of the Sun in October 2000, launching multi-award-winning It's A Ruff Life!

Over the next six and a half years, she was privileged to become "Aunt Eileen" to thousands of K-9 Kids, bestowing biscuits, balls and bellyrubs to mixed breed and purebred puppies, adult and advanced-age dogs alike.

She also became trusted friend & confidant to each of these dogs parents, sharing the joys of their first days together, celebrating milestones such as birthdays and "gotcha" days, and commiserating the sorrows associated with their shaggy sons' and doggy daughters' ultimate transitions over the Rainbow Bridge. This unique and extensive "paws-on" experience... coupled with her steadfast commitment to and involvement with dozens of animal welfare organizations is proof positive that The Top Dog has seen, heard, experienced, mastered, and counseled about virtually every aspect of doggy devotion and canine care. She’s also been a FURvent advocate for spay/neuter, adoption, and harmonious lifelong relationships between people and their pets.

Top Dog Eileen Proctor is the author of “Top Dog’s Top Tips for Tip Top Dog Care: What Your Best Friend Wants You To Know” which she’ll have available and be pawtographing at the Phoenix Pet Expo! In addition, her pedigree includes serving as:

Her commitment to informing, inspiring, empowering and aligning animal lovers, pet businesses & professionals, and animal welfare & rescue organizations has earned her the well deserved reputation as America’s Canine Connections Coach.

A native New Yorker, Eileen currently resides in Phoenix, AZ with her human SO and very significant fur kids: brighteyed & bushytailed Border Collie mix Dizney, 14 Karat Golden Retriever Cassie, indescribably adorable All American mixed breed Tracey, and, lest she be known as a species snob, cunning Calico cat Autumn… all adopted, of course!
